Inside HighLevel Summit: Wins, Wisdom, and an Unforgettable Week

What a week! Attending the HighLevel Summit was an unforgettable experience, packed with inspiring moments and a true celebration of this incredible community. From witnessing friends, clients, and partners being recognized for their exceptional achievements to feeling like we were all celebrating as one big family—it was a day that showed just how close-knit and impactful this community really is. And the best part? These are people I’m proud to support and coach every step of the way—each one of them (with the exception of my own company, Rapid Active Marketing, of course).
It was a special honor to be part of FG Funnels since its inception and to watch it blossom into something truly remarkable. Led by Cathy Olson and Julie Chenell, FG Funnels took home the Diamond Award—an incredible achievement that’s been years in the making. Four years ago, I had the privilege of helping Cathy and Julie launch FG Funnels, and it’s been a joy to see them continuously innovate, empowering their clients’ successes in countless ways. Accepting the award on their behalf was a proud moment that underscored how far we’ve come since those early launch days.
Then there’s HL Pro Tools and the powerhouse team of Matt Deseno and Graham Lightner. Watching them receive their Diamond Award, along with a host of other well-deserved accolades, felt like a major milestone. Matt was the one who introduced me to HighLevel, and his guidance has been a cornerstone of my journey. Seeing Matt and Graham’s relentless pursuit of growth and support for the community was deeply rewarding, and I’m excited to see the next chapters of their impact.
Creating Springboard CRM with Perry Belcher and Angie Norris has been one of the most exhilarating projects I’ve been a part of. The team received recognition at the summit, just a few months after launch, which speaks volumes about the immediate impact Springboard is already making. Being part of this from the ground up with such brilliant minds has been nothing short of exciting, and this recognition is only the beginning.
And speaking of inspiration, Allie Bloyd—my coach of over three years—brought home award after award (and even a car!). Allie’s dedication to this community is evident in everything she does, and she continues to motivate everyone around her, myself included, to reach for more.
Molly Mahoney’s vibrant energy is unmatched, and her achievements were another summit highlight. Molly has a knack for lighting up any room she enters, and her awards only confirm what we already know—she’s a creative force who brings joy and inspiration everywhere she goes.
Finally, seeing Rapid Active Marketing, the company I run with Andy Klepner, being recognized at the summit was a proud moment. Watching our team’s growth and achievements celebrated among the community felt like the culmination of years of dedication, growth, and hard work. And it only makes me more excited for what’s ahead.
On top of all this, I had the privilege of stepping onto the HighLevel stage as part of the SaaS panel, where I shared my insights and advice with those building their own SaaS businesses. It was an honor to be part of that conversation and to contribute to the dialogue around innovation and growth in this space.
Thank you to Shaun, Robin, and Varun for creating a platform that genuinely feels like home. Their vision has built more than just software; it’s a community where success is shared, celebrated, and amplified. And to Paulson and JB—your belief in this community and the invaluable support you provide have laid the groundwork for so many of us to grow and thrive. Here’s to an exciting future for all of us, backed by a community that’s truly one of a kind! This is and will continue to be one of the best CRMs currently out there!

How to Install Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager in GoHighLevel
Setting up Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for your GoHighLevel account lets you track and analyze traffic effectively. This guide walks you through a straightforward setup, covering each step from Google Tag Manager configuration to integrating Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
What You’ll Need:
Google Analytics: Tracks site traffic, visitor behaviors, and conversions.
Google Tag Manager (GTM): Acts as a container for tracking tags, making it easier to add new tags without editing code directly.
Google Search Console (Bonus): Helps index your site for search engines, improving SEO and discoverability.
Step 1: Set Up Google Tag Manager
Create a Google Tag Manager Account:
Search for "Google Tag Manager" and sign in using your business’s Google account.
Click “Create Account” and enter an account name (e.g., “Blissful Basics”).
Choose the type of container (e.g., "Web" for websites).
Accept the terms, and Google will generate a head and body code snippet for GTM.
Place GTM Code in GoHighLevel:
In GoHighLevel, navigate to Sites > Settings in your desired site.
Paste the head and body GTM code in the Head Tracking Code and Body Tracking Code fields.
Save changes to complete the initial GTM setup.
Step 2: Set Up Google Analytics
Create a Google Analytics Account:
Go to “Google Analytics” and log in.
Under Admin, select “Create Account” and enter a new property name (e.g., “Blissful Basics”).
Set up property details (e.g., time zone, currency) and choose tracking options like user engagement, traffic, and conversions.
Google Analytics will provide a Measurement ID for this property.
Add Google Analytics to GTM:
In Google Tag Manager, create a new tag named “GA4 Tag”.
Choose Google Analytics: GA4 Configuration and enter your Measurement ID.
Set the trigger to “All Pages” to capture data on every page, then click Save.
Add Event Tracking (Optional):
Create another tag in GTM for tracking events (e.g., clicks or form submissions).
Choose Google Analytics: GA4 Event and enter the Measurement ID.
Define specific events you’d like to track by configuring triggers, like button clicks or form submissions.
Step 3: Set Up Google Search Console (Bonus)
Link Google Search Console:
In Google Search Console, add a new property (e.g., “Blissful Basics”).
Verify ownership by adding a verification record via your DNS provider (e.g., Cloudflare, GoDaddy).
This verification helps Google index your website, improving its search engine visibility.
Connect Search Console to Google Analytics:
In Google Analytics, navigate to Admin > Property Settings > Search Console Links.
Select the appropriate property and link it to your Analytics account for unified data on search performance.
Pro Tip: Turn on all tracking options in GTM under Variables to get a comprehensive view of user behavior. This will allow you to track scroll depth, video views, and outbound clicks automatically.
With Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager set up, you’re now equipped to monitor traffic and user actions on GoHighLevel. From tracking visits to setting up custom events, these tools will provide powerful insights to inform your marketing strategies.

AI Spotlight: Autonomous Agents, New AI Video Tools, and Meta’s AI Magic
From Anthropic’s advancements to IBM’s new enterprise models, here’s a rundown of the biggest news shaping AI and how it could impact marketers and creatives alike.
1. Autonomous Agents: AI Doing the Work for You
Anthropic’s Claude Gets Hands-On: Anthropic introduced a feature where Claude can actively interact with your computer by navigating tasks through screenshots and prompts. Imagine asking Claude to fill out forms, analyze spreadsheets, and create charts, all by “seeing” your screen. It’s a game-changer for data-heavy roles and automation.
Microsoft Co-Pilot Studio: Microsoft stepped up with “autonomous triggers,” allowing AI agents to initiate tasks in response to signals, making the workflow more seamless and responsive.
Pro Tip: Start by experimenting with simple tasks to see how these agents handle them, then gradually assign more complex workflows.
2. AI Video and Image Tools: A Creator’s Dream
Runway’s Act One: This tool syncs facial expressions and audio with animated characters, creating lifelike characters that move, emote, and speak based on real-time prompts. Perfect for storytelling and animation.
Genmo, Mochi 1, and Hyper 2.0: These new video generators make it easier than ever to create realistic animations. Mochi 1, for instance, allows users to run models locally, offering more control for creators, while Hyper 2.0 offers an impressive range of text-to-video options.
MidJourney & Canva’s AI Update: New features allow you to upload images, retexture backgrounds, and even add details like cowboy boots to animals in Canva’s DreamLab feature.
Pro Tip: For marketers, these tools can generate unique, engaging visuals for social media, especially now that video and interactive content are more engaging than static images.
3. IBM and Meta AI Research: Small Yet Mighty Models
IBM’s Granite 3 Model: Built for enterprises, IBM’s Granite is efficient and customizable, with uses ranging from document analysis to automated content creation. IBM’s model is cost-effective, ideal for companies looking to enhance in-house AI capabilities.
Meta’s Spirit LM and Quantized Llama Models: Meta introduced Spirit LM, capable of processing and generating both text and audio, making it highly versatile. Their quantized Llama models, designed for mobile devices, demonstrate that powerful models can run even on smaller devices, shrinking the size without sacrificing performance.
Pro Tip: For mobile content, Meta’s new quantized models might soon help marketers deliver faster and more relevant experiences, particularly in mobile-first markets
Final Thoughts
The rise of autonomous agents means AI can take on more repetitive tasks, freeing up time for creative work and strategic decision-making. Meanwhile, new AI video and image tools are transforming content creation, making it more accessible and dynamic than ever.
